This video is a verse by verse study through Revelation, Chapter One. We will discuss the name Jesus refers to himself as, Son of Man. We discuss Jesus "coming in the clouds", the seven churches, and the beautiful picture of Jesus, seen by John, standing among the golden lamp lampstands.

We will read and study the second chapter of Revelation, and review what Jesus said about the first two churches, namely: Ephesus and Smyrna. The next video will discuss the second two churches in chapter two, namely: Pergamum and Thyatira. Each church represents the situations and behaviors of many contemporary churches.

This video continues the study of Revelation, chapter two. We continue to discuss the meaning and application of the next two churches: Pergamum and Thyatira. We will review the meaning of the Nicolaitians, Hidden manna, and the Tree of Life and the Morning Star.

In chapter Three, we continue to discuss the seven churches. Chapter Two and Three represent the second section of the book of Revelation, which is "The Things that Are". We will discuss the last three churches: Sartis, Philadelphia and Laodicea. To many Bible teachers, these represent the last eras in history, i.e., the Protestant Reformation (1520-1750), the Missionary era (1750-1900), and Laodicea represents the Modern era (1900-Present). However, this section is for all believers to examine themselves and their church against the characteristics as Jesus has spoken!

In this video we begin the study of Revelation Chapter Four. The angel calls John up to an open door in heaven to see what will take place in the future. John is taken out of the dimension of time and space to experience the throne room. I also take time to define two important attributes of God: God's Holiness and Sovereignty. This is Part Two in the two part series of chapter 4. This is the the throne in Heaven. We continue to study the book of Revelation and chapter 4 and verse 4. The throne of God we discover, has a rainbow appearance and twenty four elders surrounding it. Additionally, there are 4 living creatures full of eyes with faces of: A Lion, Ox, Man and an eagle. And all the beings are in worship! This study should help us all to worship in the way that pleases God.

We will continue our study through the book of revelation. In chapter six, we learn about the first 6 seals that will be broken to reveal the beginning of tribulation judgments. The four horsemen of the apocalypse: White, Red, black and pale indicate the judgements that will come upon the earth.

In this video, we continue to discuss the fifth and sixth seal in Revelation chapter six. The sixth seal judgements are the classic events most people think of on the "Lord's Day".

We continue our study of the Seventh chapter of the book of Revelation. The central theme shows a pause in the judgements in the earth in order to seal the 144,000 Jewish converts. They will be protected, both soul (as Believers are today), but also physically. God will keep them in order to provide freedom in their missionary efforts.

In this video I conclude the seventh chapter of the book of Revelation. The theme, beginning in verse nine, is the great multitude that will be saved during the Tribulation period. Most scholars allow the insinuation that the 144 thousand believing Jews are responsible for the significant conversion of people from all nations, tribes and languages.

The 19th chapter ends with the victory of the armies of Heaven over the armies of the earth. Christ returns with the saints and angels, establishing the Messianic Kingdom. The Antichrist and False Prophet have been cast into the Lake of Fire, the armies of the kings of the earth have been completely destroyed, with their bodies eaten by the birds and their souls sent to Hades. The kingdom of Messiah is victorious, as the resurrected saints become rulers over the earth. Then the nations stand before Jesus Christ, King of the Earth and survivors of the tribulation stand before the throne of Christ, to determine who enters the Millennium. An angel binds Satan to the bottomless pit for 1000-years. Satan is unable to influence the world during this period. During this millennium (1000-years), the population of the earth is replenished and multiplies as the saved survivors repopulate the earth, to an innumerable host. During the Millennium, the earth is at peace, and the knowledge of God is throughout the earth as waters cover the sea. The saints, rewarded for faithful service, administer the growing population of the earth. Old Testament, New Testament and Tribulation saints receive authority over the kingdom’s of the earth. After 1000 years, Satan released from his prison, tests the nations, of the repopulated earth. Satan inspires those born in the Millennium, to gather in rebellion against Jerusalem. This is his final attempt to thwart God’s plan. Fire from heaven falls on the rebels attacking Jerusalem and Satan is cast into the Lake of Fire, receiving torment for eternity with the Antichrist and False Prophet. Then all of lost humanity in Hades is resurrected, they kneel before the “Great White Throne” and are judged by their works.

This chapter is one of the most dramatic in all the Bible. In it, the Church, the Bride of Christ, is the guest of honor at the marriage of the Lamb in heaven (verses 1-10), and returns with Christ in His Triumphal Second Coming (verses 11-21). The people mentioned here are distinct from the other beings in heaven, for they are singing a song that includes mention of salvation. This scene incorporates believers, the Old Testament saints, the Church age saints, and the Tribulation saints. Together they join this great chorus proclaiming "Alleluia!"

Chapter Ten is an interlude from the "Trumpet" judgements, but we find some interesting and important events occurring. A giant angel brings the scroll down from Heaven to John, (who is actually involved in the event). The angel swears by Heaven that there will be no more delay of judgements, then gives the scroll to John to eat. John eats it and it tastes sweet and bitter. We will discuss these events and their meaning.

Chapter Eleven uncovers two witnesses, commissioned by God to prophesy to the "earth dwellers", both Gentile and Jew. We learn that, throughout the redemptive history revealed in the Bible, God uses pairs of individuals to carry on His work. We will discuss the possibility of the witnesses being, Moses and Joshua, Elijah and Elisha, Daniel and friends or a new pair of witnesses. The later scripture within the chapter are used in Handel's Messiah masterpiece!. This chapter is one of the most popular scriptures in Revelation! God bless, -Paul

This chapter of Revelation is one of the more challenging to interpret. We will discuss several symbols, which are representations of something real. Included in chapter 12 are: the Woman, the red dragon with 7 heads and 10 horns and diadems, a third of the stars of Heaven and a male child.

A War arose in Heaven! The real, "STAR WARS"1. We will discuss what happens between Michael and the dragon in Heaven! The heavens are finished with Satan, but the earth will receive great wrath.

This is the last section of this chapter 12. We hear that the devil, the accuser has been "thrown down". We will discuss the meaning of that against the heavens and the earth. But the dragon pursues the woman with great vigor, and attempted to flood her. But she was helped and she got away. This angered the dragon even worse.

This chapter continues supplementary revelation begun in chapter 12. The emphasis is on preparation for the final judgement of the Great Tribulation. This chapter has two visions. The first vision pictures the victors fresh from their triumph, and the second describes the angels who hold the seven bowls of judgement. The martyrs sing praises to God and celebrate Gods judgement of His enemies. The next chapter, 16, begins pouring out the seven bowls.

We will cover the first 12 verses of Revelation 16. This will include the first five Bowl judgements. Unlike the Seals out the Trumpets, these Bowls happen in quick order, most likely in hours or days, and had unusual severity and intensity. But, the they (Earth-dwellers, unbelievers) did not repent of their deeds!

This, Part Two of Revelation 16 begins with verse 13. We will complete the study where the last plagues of judgement by God are initiated and the assembling of the kings from the East for a great battle, Armageddon! We will discuss the possible reasons for those kings to want to battle in Palestine.

The focus of attention in chapter 17 is on the religious system that God identified with Babylon in Scripture, and that of chapter 18 is on the commercial system He identified with it. Babylon is not just the name of a city in the Middle East. It is also a name that symbolizes the chief characteristics of that city throughout history, which have been a certain religious system and a certain commercial system. We need to keep this double use of the name as a real city and as a symbol in mind as we study these chapters. In a similar way "Rome" may mean the Roman Catholic Church as well as the city of Rome in Italy, and the name "Hollywood" represents both a town and an industry associated with that town.

Chapters 21 and 22 are a description of the eternal state (following the Millennium and the final judgment), centering in the “new Jerusalem” as the eternal habitation of the saved. “The first heaven and the first earth” are replaced by the New Heaven and the New Earth, predicted by Isaiah (compare Isa. 65:17; 66:22). The present universe will thus be cleansed from all the effects of sin (compare 2 Peter 3-7, 10-13). The New Jerusalem is fully described as a holy city, totally separate from sin. It is being “prepared” as the habitation of the bride of Christ. “From God” shows its divine purpose, and “out of heaven” its divine origin.

Revelation chapter 22 contains God's Last Message to Humankind. (Rev. 22:6-9), takes us back to the early part of this book, when the faithful and true witness told us that He would send His angel to convey His message concerning the things that must come to pass. Here at the close of the Bible we are reintroduced to the tree of life, which has not been mentioned in the Bible (since Genesis 3), where Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden. Paradise is restored in the eternal state. All that was lost in the fall is redeemed by the Lamb. The leaves of this tree will be used to heal the relationships of the nations toward each other so that we might live equitably and fairly in eternity. The picture of eternal life in these verses indicates that we will be busy serving God for all eternity. We will both serve Him (verse 3), and reign with Him (verse 5). Since He is an infinite God, we can be sure He will have infinite things for us to do as we reign there forever. The phrase, "they shall see his face," means that, as believers, we will be granted an audience with the King on a regular basis.
